Real estate developers are trying to change perceptions. A new team of office bearers which took charge at the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) has announced to work on a set of measures that will help builders deliver projects on time, redress customer grievances and improve governance to change image and perception of the sector.
The RICS, an international, self regulatory professional body relating to real estate, has called for a mechanism for consumer protection and fair practices in real estate transactions. This will also help increase domestic and foreign investments in this sector.
It seems the revival in the realty market has once again started attracting big ticket investments in the sector and even the corporate in the allied business want to reap the benefits.
