Emaar Properties PJSC, Dubai’s largest real-estate firm, has asked consultants and investment bankers to value its Indian joint venture Emaar MGF Land Ltd’s assets.
Emaar MGF today challenged a single judge’s dismissal of its plea for restraining Delhi Development Authority from encashing its bank guarantee worth Rs. 183 crore due to delay in completion of the Commonwealth Games village.
Equity capital inflows touched USD 8.9 billion between January and September, registering a 46% Y-o-Y growth. The strong momentum in deal volume continued, with about 200 deals reported during this period, compared to 151 deals in the same period last year. The average deal size also increased to nearly USD 45 million in the first nine months of 2024 from about USD 36 million in 2023. Mid-sized deals, ranging between USD 10-50 million, represented 56% of the total investment inflows during this period.

The company plans to increase its team strength in the Gulf to 500 and is targeting a Gross Transaction Value of $600 mn. from its international business in 2019. It also plans to set up operations in Saudi Arabia in this calendar year.
Court has also directed that financial statements, bank details, any important resolutions by Board of directors of the company be placed on record along with minute books and attendance register w.e.f 1st April 2015 onwards. Also notices along with the proof of dispatch of the Board meetings and attendance registers be filed.
