The debate has more often than not been centered on the three key processes that could lead to the availability of mass housing in a peninsular city where the availability of land remains the primary concern.
Is RERA a rating agency? Does real estate regulation & promotion all about promotion, especially when RERA has not been a success story to regulate arguably India’s most dirty business. The question arises because in a couple of States the RERA had earlier announced to rate & grade the developers with much fanfare. It is a different matter that Track2Realty had questioned it since beginning as to whether RERA has stood up to the cause for which it was enacted. Whether SEBI or IRDA rates the companies which it monitors as the regulators?
Court has also directed that financial statements, bank details, any important resolutions by Board of directors of the company be placed on record along with minute books and attendance register w.e.f 1st April 2015 onwards. Also notices along with the proof of dispatch of the Board meetings and attendance registers be filed.
Sunil Goel, the second largest promoter and shareholder of Omaxe Group has alleged for financial fraud at Omaxe Group. He has filed a legal petition against Rohtas Goel, Chairman & Managing Director, Omaxe Ltd for malpractices and financial mismanagement carried out in the company allegedly by Rohtas Goel.

Beyond the economic rationale, the developers assert that they are doing their homework properly. One of the largest developers claims it has its own empanelled brokers to give constant feedback on the market before the launch of any new project. They supplement it with a proper in-house research of the market, the catchment area, competition and other market forces.
The fact of the matter is that any prospective buyer in Noida who does not have budget constraints would be tempted to buy an apartment along this stretch. Most of the projects that have come up in the last six to seven years are premium category projects with ultra modern amenities and facilities. Among the newly developed locations, the habitation has hence been faster in this region.
