One of the key driving factors for the increase in investor interest is the impact of policies such as RERA. Assured rentals and EMI payouts after possession, offered by developers have also significantly boosted investor confidence.
Knight Frank India has released a report titled “Co-Living – rent a lifestyle” that suggests 72% of millennials (18 – 23 years) have given co-living spaces a thumbs-upand over 55% respondents in the age group of 18 – 35 yearsare willing to rent co-living spaces.
The Indian residential market volumes spiraled down in terms of demand and supply almost every successive year in this decade. From a high of 480,000 units in 2010, the supply last year stood at mere 103,000 units across the top 8 cities.

There is no specified industry standard that can be widely accepted as best practice and the industry bodies are seen as builders’ lobbies.
