Track2Realty-Agencies: In a move aimed at providing a major fillip to the construction sector, the Centre is likely to come up with a ‘single window’ system for the country’s real estate sector soon, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Poverty alleviation (HUPA) Ajay Maken said in New Delhi on Sunday, March 24.

Ravi Sinha: I think Mr Tripathi has a very valid point that the CCI has emerged. You have also seen the wrong side of consumer activism in a Noida Extension kind of a situation. When we think of reforms, government is looking for a regulator and a whole lot of sector’s wish list has not gone down well with the government. Do you think that the sector will move ahead with some sort of reforms in the year ahead?

Track2Realty: Responding to Finance Minister P Chidambaram’s suggestion for reducing the price of housing stock, Confederation of Real Estate developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) has asked its 8,000 plus members across the country to seriously consider the proposal to sell in maximum numbers.
