2024 witnesses record-breaking real estate IPOs; capital raised to the tune of INR 135 Bn

India continues to exhibit strong economic growth prospects and business optimism is reflected in the increasing number of Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) in recent years. The traction in the number and volume of public issues lends credibility to an environment of higher corporate earnings, rising participation by retail and institutional investors, and availability of adequate liquidity in the market. With 123 fresh issues (As of 20th October 2024) across multiple sectors, 2024 has already surpassed the total number of IPOs witnessed in 2023.

This funding round featured participation from high-profile individuals such as Dr. Shriram Madhav Nene, Anmol Sood, Sahil Vachani, Managing Director and CEO of Max Estates, and Rohit Kothari’s Anchorage Capital Fund. Prominent angel investor Ritesh Malik and Ankit Mittal and his family office Sixth Sense Ventures Partners also contributed to the funding round, among others.

Godrej Properties launches Godrej Platinum in Alipore, Kolkata

Track2Realty: Godrej Properties has launched its ultra-luxury residential project, Godrej Platinum, in Alipore, Kolkata. Spread over approximately 1.4 acres, this project will have only 35 luxurious homes. Apartment sizes range between 3,762 sq. ft. per apartment and 5,075 sq. ft. per apartment with an average ticket size of INR 10 crores per home.
