Track2Realty: New residential unit launches across top eight cities declined by 12% y-o-y in 2014 with total launch of 153,000 units. The top three cities of Bengaluru (27%), NCR (17%) and Mumbai (16%) comprised of 60% of the total new launches in 2014, says a report by Cushman & Wakefield.
Track2Realty-Agencies: The Supreme Court has directed the Centre to ensure that all real estate projects launched in the country prominently display the earthquake-resistant category in which they fall and also explain the connotations of the category as defined by the government.

Track2Realty: Cushman & Wakefield in their latest research on the residential markets of India have reported a drop in total residential units launched in 3Q 2014 (July – Sept.) of approximately 21% as compared to same time last year.
Track2Realty: It is going to be quite a hard sell for the real estate developers this festive season as a huge increase of 30% quarter–on–quarter in 2014-15 in new launches in the residential segment met with inventory further going up by 6.7% in the same period, according to an ASSOCHAM recent paper.

Every geographical regions shows its own trend because of different contributing factor, and in the developing areas demand has continued to show an upward trend considering the fact that these are affordable by the middle income groups.

Individuals now seek homes either for investment purpose, or for weekend stays and ‘lifestyle accommodation’. Track2Realty: There has been a 43% increase in Q1 2014 new residential unit launches from the previous quarter. The total estimated unit launches were recorded at 55,500 units across major eight cities of India with Bengaluru recording the largest number of units launched, an increase of 22% from previous quarter, says a report by Cushman & Wakefield.
