The report is also supported by sensitive data being put forth by one of the world’s leading independent real estate consultancy, Knight Frank. The index or a very formal survey conducted by the joint efforts of these two independent organizations revealed a lot about Indian realty market.

NRI investors who had put in money in Indian real estate due to the high returns are suddenly finding the returns eroded. NRIs who hold premium properties are getting jittery and many have started selling.

Track2Realty: Knight Frank India in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry today released its second set of findings of the quarterly Real Estate Sentiment Index. The first index that covered Q4 2013 was released in February, 2014.
Track2Realty Exclusive: The Knight Frank Research finds overall fall in office absorption when compared to the corresponding quarter last. Approximately 1.35mn.sq.ft was transacted in Q3 FY 13, showing a 39% fall compared to the same quarter last year and 4% compared to the preceding quarter.
