Track2Realty: Heralding the entry of super specialty Nova Hospital into Pune, Kumar Urban development Limited (KUL) has signed an agreement with the former for a Build-to-Suit (BTS) project.
Built at Rs. 40 crores, the 40,215 sq ft property with ground plus four floors will be given to Nova on rent. Located at Sarasbaug and adjacent to Peshwe Park, the building has two basement levels.
Announcing the development, Kruti Jain, Executive Director, KUL said, “We are pleased to build this property to cater to the increasing super specialty needs of Pune city and surroundings. We are sure this will prove to be a real boon for the people of Pune.”
With this project, Nova brings super specialties like high end cosmetic and replacement surgeries, and Breast Clinic and Pain Management Centers to the city of Pune.
The building will be handed over to Nova shortly and the hospital is expected to be fully operational over the next six months. It will cater to the needs of short-stay surgeries.
KUL, with its hospital vertical, plans to build five more BTS hospitals. KUL is known for its BTS in malls, commercial spaces and offices. The company further plans to diversify into other BTS areas like schools, sports clubs.
Nova Specialty Surgery (NSS) centers are multi-specialty, highly efficient medical centers that offer advanced minimally invasive short-stay surgeries, outpatient consultation and comprehensive health check-ups.
Nova also plans to set up a Nova Specialty Surgery (NSS) center as well as a Nova IVI Fertility (NIF) center at Kidopia, Pune. The Nova Pune center will have leading surgeons (including Dr. Jayashree Todkar, renowned General and Bariatric surgeon) and IVF specialists across India on board.
The Pune NSS center will have 35 beds, 5 modular OTs, ICU, Pre-operative and Post-operative rooms, single, twin and deluxe suites, and include the latest in technology for high end surgeries.
The Pune NIF center will cater to the whole range of assisted reproductive services and will be equipped, in-patient and out-patient rooms, modular OT and the finest in IVF technology and equipment.
