Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI)’s Kochi chapter is organising a two-day property expo, along with Times of India, starting tomorrow, Nov 18, at Regency Hall, Doha. The event ‘The Times Reality India 2011’ has attracted a number of builders from across India, including Kerala. A dedicated pavilion for properties from Kerala has also been set up at the venue.
The expo will promote real estate development in Kerala with a national impetus. The CREDAI, Kerala says that the state was in a phase of development and progress with a number of new projects happening in and around Kochi in particular. The important developments that are coming through in Kochi, the commercial capital of Kerala, are—The Metro Rail, Vallarpadam Trans-shipment Terminal, Smart city, Cyber City and the Mobility Hub to name a few, giving it an aura of a metro city. Not far behind are the other leading cities of Kerala – Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode and Kannur.
While the Vizhinjam International seaport is coming up on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram, a cyber park is underway in Kozhikode, the organizers said. The developments have paved the way for the opening of a number of malls and retail outlets of well known brands in all major cities.
Among those taking part are Jaypee Greens, Delhi, Mantri Bangalore, Arista Mumbai, Hiranandani Mumbai, Sobha Developers Bangalore, High Land Goa, Heritage India Chennai, Apna Sapna Ooty, Abad Builders, Kochi, Asset Homes, Kochi, PVS Apartments, Mather Projects, Meridian Homes and Skyline Builders. In all 70 developers from all over India are participating.
