DLF’s Chairman, K.P. Singh, has been conferred the “Indian Business Leader of the Year” award by Horasis: The Global Visions Community — an independent organisation that promotes sustainable future.
The organisation, which hosts a global India business meeting in the Belgian city every year, honoured Singh at an event in Antwerp for his vision and entrepreneurial skills that have transformed India’s real estate landscape and propelled DLF into the global arena.
The award was conceived to recognize the achievements and excellence of Indian business leaders who promote leadership, sustainability, value creation, innovation, growth, global reach and economic performance.
“We take pride in honoring K.P. Singh with the Indian business leader of the year Award for his contribution to the growth of Indian economy,” said Frank-Jurgen Richter, the chairman of Horasis.
“We also recognize his role in setting up the DLF Foundation that contributes towards philanthropic activities.”
Singh, who recently authored his autobiography — ‘Whatever the Odds’ — said he was humbled by the honour and said it was a tribute to Indian entrepreneurship. The event also witness a special reading from his bestselling book.
