Track2Realty: Transparency is the new buzzword now. We would like see transparency in all deals–be it with the authorities and the Governments or at the customer end. As a strategy going forward, we as developers would like to maintain the highest standards of transparency and trust. This is where the MCHI Code of Conduct comes into picture.
The recently held MCHI Property Expo has clearly demonstrated that the participant developers are keen to adhere to the code of conduct since they realize the importance of it, not only in building houses, but building relationships that last. A bad word spreads like a wild fire, but it takes pains to spread a good word. As a strategy, we would like to spread the good word!
At MCHI, we have also set up a Consumer Grievance Cell. I am happy to see the Cell functioning actively and attending to complaints. Our basic aim is to ensure all disputes are settled amicably and avoid time consuming legal battles.
In real Estate, there are plenty of things that are needed to be done at the level of various Governments–the State and even local. We are continuously pursuing with the Government for ensuring speedy clearances, single window for all building clearances and rationalization of stamp duty and registration. We strongly believe that these are essential to fulfill the dream–Housing for All.
Half of the City lives in slums and by no standard this is acceptable. We developers are willing to play our constructive role (pun intended!) in changing the scene for better.
