Dewan Architects & Engineers, architecture and engineering consultancy firm, has drawn up an ambitious plan to expand its footprints in the Indian realty business. The company recently announced its venture into the burgeoning Indian real estate market, in a move that comes as part of Dewan’s strategic expansion plans to reach out to more markets in South East Asia.
Drawing from its experience in developing large scale projects in the Middle East, Dewan plans to target the Indian sub-continent and focus on master-planning townships and urban communities as well as mixed-use real estate developments in areas such as hospitality, business parks and residential towers. The company will jointly operate in the Indian market with a successful investment banker and entrepreneur Manoj Prasad, one of the key promoters of “i1 Super Series” India’s first Motor racing event at Global level.
“These are exciting times and we are excited to enter the Indian market. The reputation of our firm and our principles have positioned Dewan as an international firm. Today we are working closely with our Indian partners on these exciting new opportunities with a view of aligning our design objectives with their goals, to ensure that we deliver to the highest standards”, said Mohamed Al Assam, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Dewan.
