The 3rd NAR–India Convention 2011 is being hosted by Andhra Pradesh Realtors Association (APRA) in Hyderabad. It promises to be the bigger and better than its earlier editions in Pune & Chennai. The convention has been planned to attract approx. 1000 delegates of which most of them would be brokers from all major cities of India and some international brokers.
Approx. 900 brokers from cities like Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Nasik, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Vadodra have already confirmed their presence. Another 50 international delegates have also confirmed their participation which would include members from NAR-USA and IRPF.
As part of the convention there is also a property exposition on 23rd and 24th July 2011 at HICC, with 40 stalls. This is the first ever Business to Business property expo, where in properties from across the country will be show cased to about 1000 channel partners descending from all parts of the country.
Shailender Singh, Chairman, NAR-India Convention and Expo 2011 said “During the two-day event, activities like stall expositions, panel discussions, brain storming sessions, cultural activities and networking get together are organized. There are 16 cities under NAR-India now and this will grow to 20 before the convention. This body was formed to professionalize the broker business and change the perception of how brokers and realtors are looked upon. NAR-India will first bring professional realtors together and then assist them to form associations in different cities from where they can grow and also compete nationally and internationally.”
The event also provides an opportunity for interacting, networking, marketing and building relationships besides being a great interface for education programs, expo and cultural activities with brokers from all over India, USA and Europe taking part. This year, the convention aims to bring together besides realtors and builders / developers, delegates from allied industries like architects, lawyers, investors, venture capitalist firms, equity funds and financial institutions, making this an event to remember.
NAR-India Convention this year has Indian School of Business (ISB) as its knowledge partner. The expo has participants viz., Phoenix Group, K Raheja, Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc., Koncept Ambience, Manjeera Projects Ltd., Indu Projects Limited, Emaar Properties, PBEL Ramky, Indu Group, Sujana Group, BEAM Telecom and Propertyfeast.com.
