Track2Realty Exclusive: Real estate in search of the twin objectives of sales and brand promotions has, of late, learnt that there is no better mechanism to achieve the both than property exhibitions. It brings many buyers & multiple sellers on board to showcase what is available in the given market.
While buyers get the liberty to choose form a wide range of projects displayed, it is even more beneficial for the realtors who get the bulk booking at a given exhibition and at the same time showcase their projects to get the maximum brand value.
It is all the more saviour for the sector weathering slowdown and festive season is the right time for this. The concept that in its infancy not very long ago was confined to organising stalls for the participating companies has, of late, seen value additions and brand innovations to create more ROI (Return on Investments) for the developers and make attractive for the buyers. In a nutshell, property fests in India are reinventing continuously to remain relevant for both the developers as well as the buyers.
Reema Kundnani, VP- Marketing & Corporate Communications, Oberoi Realty also seems to agree that it is time for brand innovation with property exhibitions. According to her, the NRI audience needs homes that offer them a truly international lifestyle right here in India.
“Oberoi Realty has several offerings for lifestyle seekers in this space and we have witnessed a surge in NRIs buying our residential properties over the years. We believe that the India Calling – Virtual Property Expo from MagicBricks.com provides us an ideal platform to reach out to the NRI audience in USA. Considering the online nature of this event, supported by the tremendous reach of Magicbricks.com, we are sure that many more NRIs will learn about us,” says Kundnani.
Abhay Kumar, CMD, Griha Pravesh Buildteck agrees that it is a brand driver that creates a positive environment as the buyers get an opportunity to directly interact with developers and that too in a competitive environment. Prospective buyers get more confidence for their decision making.
“It certainly does lead to property bookings. The seasoned or second time investor grabs the offers which are meant for the exhibition period only,” says Kumar.
Paras Gundecha, former President MCHI-CREDAI says it has been observed that property exhibitions play an important role in boosting the buyer sentiment. Such exhibitions bring a large number of developers and home buyers under one umbrella, facilitating a one-on-one dialogue between the two parties.
“We have observed that MCHI-CREDAI property exhibitions have been a great success over the years. Even during economic uncertainty and gloom in the real estate sector in India, MCHI-CREDAI property exhibitions managed to attract huge footfalls,” says Gundecha.
